Organic and biodynamic extra virgin olive oil produced in the province of Jaén with cold pressed Arbequina olives.
With its smooth and fruity profile, the nose has notes of green apple, ripe banana and sweet almond. On the palate it is sweet, with very light spicy notes and no bitter aftertaste.
Its light texture and low bitter and spicy intensity make it an ideal oil for dressing salads, accompanying fish and seafood and for making mild sauces, enhancing each dish with a fresh and balanced touch.
Organic olive growing aims to produce extra virgin olive oil without the use of synthetic chemical products, whether fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides, thus helping to protect natural resources and biodiversity.
Biodynamic agriculture is an agricultural philosophy that goes one step further than organic. The farm is conceived as an organism in which plants, animals and humans are integrated together. In addition, it works with the vital energies available in nature, taking into account the cosmic rhythms (solar, lunar and planetary cycles) in production.
The result of the union of organic and biodynamic is an extra virgin olive oil of very high quality, with a unique sensory profile and a more intense and complex flavour, as well as greater protection of the environment, acting in favour of the biological processes that facilitate life in the ecosystem of the olive farm.
At Zais they are committed to organic, sustainable and biodynamic agriculture to offer an extra virgin olive oil of magnificent quality. Their farm is located in the municipality of Linares, in the province of Jaén, and has 60 hectares.
Biodynamic agriculture conceives the farm as a living,...
