DESCRIPCTION:
Chilli peppers, native to America, are one of the basic ingredients in some of the most renowned and beloved cuisines. They are not only a staple in their country of origin, Mexico, but also a way of life for North Americans and, increasingly, Europeans.
Belonging to the Solanaceae family, chillies grow on a small shrub which, during its most active period, produces a small fruit that, despite its size, has an intense flavour. Initially yellow, they turn green as they grow and then red when they are ready to be harvested. After drying and checking that they are dehydrated, thanks to their darker colour, they are then ground and the resulting powder is organic and of the highest quality.
The more adventurous will love it even in sweet desserts, but it is more commonly used in savoury dishes, fish or stir-fries. Chilli or cayenne pepper is really appetising and adds a special touch and an aftertaste that you'll definitely want to repeat. Spicy, organic and powdered for ease of use. If spicy food isn't your thing, give it a try, you'll be surprised. Just remember, a little goes a long way, so don't be too bold or your food will be just right.
