Premium extra virgin olive oil produced in Baeza (Jaén) with early olives of the Coratina variety. Coratina is, together with Frantoio, the most representative variety in Italy.
Vizconde de Almansa extra virgin olive oil comes from olive trees that have been cultivated with environmentally friendly procedures, in accordance with sustainable agriculture, and whose early and careful selection ensures an extraordinary quality.
Cold extracted, this oil retains all its antioxidants and health benefits. The nose has green notes of olive leaf, grass and tomato, while the palate is spicy rather than bitter.
Food pairing: Toasted bread, bitter salads with rocket or endive, roasted and grilled red meats, traditional stews, spicy dishes, pesto sauce, baked fish and grilled vegetables.
The graphic on the original packaging is a romantic interpretation of Norbert Schrödl's ‘The rescue of the dog’ (1873), transformed into a sympathetic scene where nature and its fauna take centre stage. In this way, nature is humanised, representing the value of nobility linked to honesty and respect for others.
Oleícola Jaén S.A. is a family company founded in 1982. Its main activity is the production of extra virgin olive oil, whose olives come from different parts of the province of Jaén: Baeza, Las Escuelas, Miraelrio, Linares, Úbeda and Mancha Real.
