Early harvest extra virgin olive oil produced in Córdoba with Picual variety olives.
The olives are harvested at their optimum point of ripeness and cold pressed, resulting in an extra virgin olive oil that is more intense, fresh and full of antioxidants.
It is a Picual with medium-high green fruitiness, clean and expressive. The nose reveals an intensely vegetal aroma, with dominant notes of olive leaf, tomato plant, fresh grass and artichoke, accompanied by hints of green almond. On the palate, it has a marked entry with bitterness and pungency, characteristic of the Picual variety, well integrated and balanced. The pungency appears progressively and persistently. It is a structured, intense and harmonious extra virgin olive oil with a long aftertaste that conveys freshness and vitality.
Food pairing: It is perfect for consuming raw when you are looking for power, freshness and depth of flavour. We recommend taste it with grilled or roasted meats, roasted and sautéed vegetables, traditional legumes and stews, vegetable creams and soups, cured and intense cheeses or artisan breads and focaccia.
It comes in a handmade ceramic bottle painted by hand in Córdoba. It is not just a container, but a unique piece designed to be reused and accompany you in your kitchen for years to come, promoting more conscious and sustainable consumption. Its design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also protects the oil from light and heat, helping to preserve all its nutritional properties and respect its essence.
Monsieur Pegó extra virgin olive oil has been awarded the Bronze Medal at the Mezquita Awards 2025.

Monsieur Pegó is a project aimed at people who love and are passionate about a quality product, but above all it is a unique way of understanding life.
Behind this project is Rosario Vergara Puig. In 2022 she decided to embark on a new path and join the family business, the fourth generation of farmers in Cordoba. She encounters an exciting world and discovers the value of agriculture and the wonderful world of the olive tree and extra virgin olive oil.
One day she learns the story of Monsieur Pegaux, an enlightened Frenchman from the 19th century who lived in Cordoba. Rosario instantly connected with Pegaux and decided to recover his essence by setting up ‘Monsieur Pegaux’. This project was born with great enthusiasm and the desire to share with the world another way of understanding this exciting sector.
Monsieur Pegó is committed to sustainability and responsible consumption, which is why it invites us to take care of what we have and to think about what we consume. The extra virgin olive oil is bottled in ceramic bottles handmade and hand-painted by artisans from Cordoba. The bottles can be reused, refilled or become part of your everyday life.
Innovation is also present at Monsieur Pegó, because for them innovation is the only way to be in the present. In addition to the ceramic bottles, they offer a revolutionary refillable pouch format bottle with which you can enjoy a continuous experience. Its practical non-drip tap makes it easy to refill the ceramic bottles, allowing you to dose the oil easily and reduce waste. At the same time, it prolongs the freshness of the product so you can enjoy its quality with every use.
Monsieur Pegó's history and journey are getting bigger and bigger every day. For the moment, it has already been awarded the Bronze Medal at the Mezquita Awards.
