Olive oil from Cáceres

The olive oil production zones in the province of Cáceres are El Jerte and la Vera, Ibores, Montánchez, Ambroz and Guadalupe. The most used variety is Manzanilla Cacereña, although you can also find Verdial and Cornicabra varieties. In the north of Cáceres, you can find the area protected by the Gata-Hurdes Designation of Origin, which produce sweet olive oils with hints of apple and banana, these olive oils are highly stable and come highly recommended for their pleasant flavour.
