You've probably heard of chimichurri sauce, but what about chimichurri salt? It's a special salt used to make this sauce, giving it an extra touch of flavour. In addition to salt, it contains a blend of spices that make this sauce even more spectacular: cayenne pepper, thyme, rosemary, basil, garlic, parsley and oregano.
If you want to make chimichurri sauce, you'll need to have the following ingredients on hand: oil, garlic, parsley, oregano and, of course, this salt. Garlic, parsley and oregano are already included in this seasoning, but you can add more if you wish. It is very easy to prepare. Just mix all the ingredients together and it will be ready in a few minutes. The special thing about this salt is that it will give you a flavour you have never tasted before.
You can add chimichurri sauce to:
- Roasted, barbecued or grilled meats. If you are a meat lover, you have to try it. This is the most common use for this sauce.
- Roasted or steamed vegetables. Chimichurri sauce is perfect for adding a spicy and more appealing touch to traditional vegetables. We warn you: the result is unexpected.
