Torta is a cheese made in the region of Extremadura that is characterised by its smooth, creamy texture and intense, slightly bitter flavour. Its texture makes it ideal for multiple preparations, both hot and cold.
Serving suggestions: Taste it in canapés, sandwiches and with toasted bread or as a filling for tartlets, croquettes or pasties. It also adds a delicious touch to pasta dishes or gnocchis, eggs and omelettes.
