Oro del Desierto Picual - Squared glass bottle 250 ml.

This extra virgin olive oil from Tabernas (Almería) is a single variety of the Picual variety.

Intense green in colour with golden highlights, this oil is cleanly filtered.

On the nose, it is moderately fruity, with less intense aromas of freshly cut grass, leaves, stems and fig, which are persistent and harmonious. The green character outweighs the fruit.

On the palate, it is somewhat astringent, with plenty of character and personality, medium bitterness and less ardour. The aftertaste leaves a sensation of fresh lettuce and chlorophyll with vague notes of bitterness.

Serve with : 

Highly recommended for salads, tomato bread, stews and sauces, gazpacho and salmorejo and even fried foods, to which it adds an exceptionally pleasant, silky flavour.

Thanks to its great stability, it can be kept for 20 to 24 months in good conditions.
